There has been no breakthrough at Notts County where it is hoped that a Danish consortium will save the club. Unsurprisingly, the football authorities have done nothing, even though the plight of the club was raised at prime minister's questions last week: Threat of extinction
The club's membership scheme 'Lifeline' has donated £25,000 to help employees who have not been paid their wages for June. The independent fund-raising organisation has contributed £211,000 to the club since 2017.
