Allamhouse Ltd, the parent company of Hull City Football Club, had an operating loss of £28.3 million in 2019 but payments and player sales turned this into a £2.5m profit, reports Kieran Maguire of the PriceofFootball.
Allamhouse accounts suggest Hull City revenues may have increased in 2019, but these exclude parachute payments.
Allamhouse paid £3.8 million in dividends to shareholders and £45,000 in political donations to the Conservative Party. Dr Allam owns 50-75% of the shares. He was also repaid a £10m loan in the year plus interest.
