Football finance guru Kieran Maguire reports: 'Tranmere financial results show losses of £579k, down 75% for 2018/19 as the club had a successful return to the EFL winning promotion.' Since the year end the club has raised £3.5m from investors in Indonesia.
The cloud on the horizon is their relegation on a points per game basis which they are challenging. One consequence is that their manager Micky Mellon has left for Dundee United.

Tranmere were promoted in 18/19 without spending any money on transfer fees
Tranmere’s football income more than doubled in 18/19 due to EFL broadcasting deal and solidarity payments from Premier League. Commercial income was down 15%.
Tranmere's strategy of diversifying income by providing services for local community reflected in having highest income in League Two in 18/19 of clubs who show figures. Tranmere's strategy also means that despite paying promotion bonuses in 18/19 they are the only club to report wages to income % lower than UEFA's recommended 70% in League Two last season
Tranmere spent over £130k on infrastructure in 18/19.
Tranmere’s gross debt fell during 18/19 and a further £500k was repaid to former owner after end of season. They managed to repay loans of £190k during the financial year.
