Nottingham Forest have published operating losses of £32m for
2019/20 taking total losses to £187,000,00, reports Kieran Maguire of the
PriceofFootball.
Forest bought
players for £5.7m and had sales of £14m
In each of the last 11 years Forest have paid out more in
wages than they have generated in revenue, with revenue of £208m and wages of
£289m, highlighting the insanity and lack of cost control in the EFL
Championship.
I have now received my copy of the 2nd edition of Maguire's book The Price of Football and it is even stronger than the first edition: https://www.agendapub.com/books/151/the-price-of-football-second-edition
Forest are in discussions with shirt sponsor Football Index after its catastrophic stock market crash: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-9350153/Nottingham-Forest-discussions-shirt-sponsor-Football-Index-following-catastrophic-collapse.html
